Winter has most definitely come and the cold temperatures and freezing fog have left my hair a little worse for wear. It tends to become frizzy, dry and horribly dull. Constantly going from hot temperatures to cold temperatures doesn't do my hair any favours so I've made it my mission to really embrace a winter hair recovery regime. Here are the tips which have really helped my hair survive the season in style.
How to Kick Start Your Day

The end of January is nearly here so I thought I'd share a post on my tips on how to kick start your day. By having a good morning it puts me in a great mood for the rest of the day where I have the potential to be incredibly productive. These tips help me stay focussed on my daily goals which help me achieve my bigger goals. Here's how you can reach your full daily potential...

Many people think New Year, New Me, and while I'm all for setting goals in the New Year of what you want to achieve for the coming year ahead, as you can find here, I'm not sure I now totally agree with the new me part of the saying. I think we should all be encouraged to embrace what we've already got.

It's not exactly breaking news that more people in their twenties are still living at home thanks to a bit of a financial landslide. Many moons ago living at home with your parents in your twenties was a bit of a taboo, now it is socially acceptable and I am one of those people embracing the comforts of home whilst trying to become financially independent.

Hello 2017

How do you do?

Two Thousand and Sixteen, you will certainly go down in the history books. You've been a bit of a rollercoaster both on a personal level and a global level which is why I'm not quite sure how to review you. I've not known a year yet to be such an emotional rollercoaster with some amazing highs and crazy lows. While globally everything seems to be up in the air which the news and media are reporting I thought I'd look at my personal year, it's highlights and lows, because you know, change starts with you.
A Christmas Gin Cocktail

Tomorrow is christmas eve and I love being able to celebrate finishing work for a while and defeating the christmas wrapping. I also love gin. I get my love of gin from my grandad and every year I get a number of bottles from him so we can share in our love and I love this fruity twist on a traditional gin & tonic, or in our case gin & lemonade. We've both never understood tonic.

It's the most wonderful time of the year... and even though I would probably prefer to hibernate through winter like a bear, I just wouldn't be able to as christmas is just too magical to miss. Many people find it all quite stressful but I revel in the delights the season brings... although thats probably because I wouldn't have a chance at cooking an edible christmas dinner. Baking is my thing, not cooking. Here are my favourite things about christmas:
