Amsterdam is one of my favourite cities that I've been to. Admittedly I've not been to many. But, it's chilled out nature and gorgeous architecture have got me hook, line and sinker.

As far as things go, 2018 is already looking to be a pretty huge year in my life.

Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.'

Revising my ultimate Bucket List for 2017

Bucket lists are an odd thing. They are meant to be all the things you want to achieve and do before you essentially kick the bucket. I've had a bucket list as long as I can remember but looking back at it the other day I thought it needed a little pick-me-up. I think as I've grown up my list has needed to grow up too. Items such as 086 - Order Room Service probably need to go as where I once deemed it a luxury, its not something I would be annoyed about not ever doing now.

Hello 2017

How do you do?

#208 - Visit Ayutthaya the old capital of Siam | Thailand
In case you didn't know my blog started as a place to record my crazy-long bucket list and after recently having another glance at my list, which can be found here, I decided to put a post together on the next 10 items that I would like to achieve. Being mid-november, christmas will soon be here with the new year and a fresh opportunity to tick some more things off the list. I also thought I'd share some photos of my favourite things I've completed on the list too, like visiting the stunning Ayutthaya in Thailand and falling out while white water rafting; picture taken about a minute before I fell out and was beaten black and blue by the rocks.
Just before christmas I was lucky enough to travel to the Dominican Republic with my gorgeous family and boyfriend. We spent 10 days just relaxing and watching life pass us by under the palm trees and glorious sun. We encountered monkeys, parrots and some very cheerful locals and the most stunning white sand beaches. To escape the normal christmas madness was complete bliss although it did take away some of the beautiful chaos that makes Christmas so crazy and exciting. Here are a few photos from the trip.

2015 has been a very strange year for me. All the normal traditions and timescales for things went completely out of the window. Overall I probably wouldn't class it as a great year - for reasons which I'm sure i'll share over time but are currently still quite raw. Focussing on the positive though for the new year ahead and even though I wouldn't class it as a great year I have still accomplished things this year which I am incredibly proud of.

Amsterdam Canals and BikesBack in May, me and the girls hopped on a plane and took a weekend trip to Amsterdam. Having never been to the city before I really didn't know what to expect. Luckily it turns out me and Amsterdam were made for each other. Bicycles, Canals, Tulips & Cheese - not to be stereotypical at all.
Many people have a bucket list. If you've never heard of the term before it's essentially a list of things you'd like to do before you kick the bucket. I've tried many ways of keeping track of my bucket list and all either get damaged, lost or forgotten so I've decided to post the list on the internet so hopefully I will always be able to find it and see what's left to do.
I'm also hoping that I will tick off more items than I actually add each year (another reason that the previous editions of my bucket list were unsuccessful.
