Rachel Emily sat on a fence in matching green running gear

I'm going to throw this out there. I'm not a solo runner.
I can run solo and I do run solo but it's not where my running 'buzz' comes from.

I'm still trying to work out if the marathon gods were being cruel or kind when I got my rejection letter through in the post last October.

Now you may be right in thinking if you've been reading my posts for a while... i'm sure this all sounds familiar. And you'd be totally right.

This is now the 3rd time I've put my name in the ballot for the London Marathon, despite not being a runner at all.
Wellbeing | Why I'm Done With Fad Diets and False Claims - Rachel Emily Blog

The internet is dark and full of lies. (well it can be)

In a world of social media and the internet it is all too easy to be swept up in a world of false information.

Emma can tell you she's an instagram guru; Sandra can help you lose 10lbs in 3 weeks; Tim can help you make thousands of extra pounds each month easy.
Fitness | Getting a Personal Trainer - Rachel Emily Blog

Getting a Personal Trainer (PT) was something that I considered for years. I uhm'ed and ah'ed back and forth trying to push myself to take the plunge. If I'm brutally honest, I didn't think it would be worth the money. But I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong.

I was wrong.

So a couple of months ago I had a moment of insanity and put my name into the hat ballot for the London Marathon 2019.

Now to highlight the scale of crazy that this is - I'm best known for running a bath instead of actual running. If I really push myself then I can run a mile in about 12 minutes and I practically have to lie down for a good solid hour afterwards before my legs will even thinking about moving again.

When I worked in retail 10,000 steps a day was a breeze, I could do it by 11am. Now I find myself walking around my car a few times to get an extra couple of hundred at lunchtime or to the printer and back a few times more than I need just to edge closer to that magic 10k.
Fitness | Review of the Body Coach 90 Days SSS Plan

Last October I took on the challenge that was The Body Coach 90 Day SSS (Shift, Shape, Sustain) Plan and 2 weeks in I started a review on the blog. The plan was a HUGE overhaul to my current diet and exercise regime and reflecting back on it I was a little naive to think I would have a super model body by the end of it.

The Body Coach 90 Day SSS Plan: Part One

So I've been a little quiet on here lately and part of that is down to me starting the 90 Day SSS (Shift, Shape and Sustain) Plan from The Body Coach and being crazy busy with college, work and well just life. Many will have heard of The Body Coach plan, but for those who haven't here is a little more about it.
