A Lanzarote Photo Diary

A week ago I was enjoying the sunny climes of Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. The trip was booked by my lovely mother as a birthday present for me and it was just what I needed. After mountains of assignments and a new project at work a week's escape did my mind the world of good. We didn't do much adventuring on our stay but I thought I'd share some of my favourite photographs from the trip.

The trip was the perfect trip to relax and refresh my mind, and also get some reading done which is something that I often find that I don't have as much time as I would like for at the moment. The hotel was gorgeous and the beds were unbelievably comfortable and there was cava included in the all inclusive package. Now I better get back to those assignments as I have deadlines this week. Lanzarote is a gorgeous volcanic island and you can even have your dinner cooked from the heat of their active volcano. We stayed in Playa Blanca which offers a ferry over to the neighbour island of Fuerteventura where you can explore sand dunes, ride camels and shop to your hearts contents in their markets.
