Lifestyle | A Wonderful Wedding

The gorgeous bride and groom being showered with confetti

At the beginning of September I was lucky enough to attend the wedding of two of my closest friends. I met them both when we were all eleven years old in secondary school. The bride became one of my closest friends throughout school to the point where it was claimed we were 'joined at the hip' and the groom was a fellow bus wanker on the 201 school bus. The day was absolutely amazing and filled me with so much happiness seeing these two wonderful people commit to each other. I can only hope that I look so happy and in love on my own wedding day if i'm ever so lucky.

Every little detail of the day had been scrutinised by the bride & groom to perfection. It all tied in together perfectly from the tipi marquee, croquet on the lawn and the packed dance floor from the moment the DJ started to the end of the evening (all of our friends love a good boogie). The speeches were the exact amount of reflection, love and humour and at the end of the day I was left with the biggest warm fuzzy feeling inside, although that could have been helped by all the alcohol which I consumed. I become the biggest softy when i've have a few.

After such an amazing day I feel so thankful that I have fantastic friends who I've had for such a long time. I'm so grateful to have been invited to celebrate the Bride & Groom's special day and all the best to Mr & Mrs Pritchard.

If anyone is interested my dress and shoes are from ASOS and my bag & fascinator are from Accessorise.
