It's february, it's birthday month and I can see the spring light at the end of the long winter tunnel. While this year winter hasn't been too bad all the changeable weather has played havoc with my hair and skin as you may already know from my winter hair care post, which you can find here. I thought I'd share a few of my beauty favourites at the moment which I am loving.

Hylamide Pore Delete

This is a product that I had my eye on for a while before I noticed it in the New In: Beauty section at ASOS and it was immediately in my bag. For a pore 'minimiser' it really works, personally I think even better than Benefit's Professional but it works in a different way. This product is a lot stickier than the silky feel of porefessional and it is harder to apply make up over the top of but it does appear to hide pores better.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

This was another product which I had been itching to try and I purchased this in the January blues after the winter air was drying out my skin so bad nothing was helping. Then this little baby saved everything. My skin is moisturised, glowing and this cream has a gorgeous silky smooth texture. I think it's going to become a beauty staple of mine and now I'm desperate to try more Charlotte Tilbury products as this one really did live up to the hype.

L'oreal Infallible Total Cover Palette

Now I'm not known for my make up skills but this colour correcting palette has been a game changer for me. It has 3 neutral colour options and a purple and green. The green I use to colour correct red areas, so any unwelcome spots or the irritating little red bits round my nose are now easily hidden. The purple shade I use to cover up dullness and the yellower shade I use for the pesky dark circles under my eyes which at the moment with all my assignments and work just won't go away. The colours have a creamy texture making them easy to apply and they have a great staying power, although I do use a finishing powder which I assume helps with this.

Body Shop Shea Butter Hand Cream

This hand cream is the perfect size to pop in my handbag and apply when my hands need it. It has a beautiful smell and leaves my hands smooth and soft. They seem to stay moisturised for ages which is brilliant as you can use the cream sparingly and you don't get a case of 'butter'fingers once applied so you can actually get on with your day.

Blistex Intensive Lip Moisturiser

My lips are known for being chapped about 75% of the time. They just can't seem to sort themselves out and it's a reason why I very rarely use lipstick. I now own about 5 of these little Blistex tubes so that I always have one around when I need it. They seem to be the only thing which can work miracles on my stubborn lips so I would highly recommend to anyone who's lips need a little extra winter TLC.
