Favourite Fragrances Right Now

So as mentioned in my christmas sales post, which can be found here, I rambled on about my annual perfume haul. Every year I save all of my boots points up and after christmas treat myself to a number of perfume sets when they are reduced. This year I made quite an impressive haul which included some of my favourite scents so I thought I'd share what they were with you...

Chanel No.5 L'eau

This fragrance came out in 2016 and I absolutely love it as it is so different to anything else I've ever owned. It's really fresh with a citrus twist and I can't wait to wear it in the summer out enjoying the sun imagining that I'm in a tropical hideaway because I smell that damn good. I've had so many compliments on this perfume since I've owned it and I've even recommended it to friends for christmas presents. The Chanel No.5 classic has a new twist and I like it.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream

I can't quite pin point when Daisy Dream was added to my perfume collection but it really reminds me of spring when the daffodils are glowing in the gorgeous blue skies. Maybe I first wore it in spring? or maybe its the blue hue to the scent which makes me think that way? This fragrance has both fruity and floral notes to it from blackberry and grapefruit to jasmine, I've also heard there is coconut water in it too which really appeals to my coconut water and coconut oil addiction. I topped up on this in the christmas sales as it's a brilliant fragrance for everyday use.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce

This perfume is one that I have spent months spraying on the tester strips and wishing it was in my collection until recently. When it launched the bottle with the gorgeous flower stopper instantly pulled me over to sample it and from that day I was sold. The fragrance uses white amaryllis from South Africa which has been used for the first time in scent in Dolce and it makes me wonder if the bottle stopper is a nod to this.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so Fresh

Daisy, and it's many versions, from Marc Jacobs is probably one of the longest standing perfume ranges in my collection. They all have fresh tones which is something I'm drawn to in a scent and they make great everyday fragrances that you can pop in your bag to top up on throughout the day to keep you smelling divine. Eau so Fresh is a Daisy variation which I just can't stop buying due to it's raspberry, wild rose and plum tones, which might lead to it's blush hue.

Chloe Love Story Eau de Parfum

My final fragrance which I am loving right now is the Chloe Love Story Parfum. It is incredibly long wearing, as with all of the Chloe fragrances I've ever owned, and it smells divine. Tones of orange blossom and jasmine make it a feminine and delicate scent and the cedar wood base add that little something special to it. After finding out the bottle is designed to represent a padlock to symbolise love and romance I now think back to putting a padlock on the Pont Des Arts bridge in Paris every time I spritz this perfume. Such a romantic perfume make this fragrance the perfect treat for Valentines day and you can even get the bottles pre-engraved 'with love'.

So those are my five favourite fragrances right now. Below are some links to where you can shop them all along with some other additions from my perfume collection including my go-to occasion scent, Chanel Chance.
